Essential Learning is fully accredited by the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP). NADSP accreditation assures that those who successfully complete Essential Learning training courses will be eligible for national credentialing. Direct Support Professionals who complete Essential Learning’s approved training curriculum may now use these training hours toward the 200 educational hours required to become a Certified Direct Support Professional (DSP-C), as well as to maintain their certification which requires the completion of 20 hours of continuing education every two years.
