Sheila Shaw, Senior Vice President at Irwin Siegel Agency, began her career in insurance in 1984 developing a deep knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry through work experience and job specific trainings. Ms. Shaw received her Associate in Underwriting designation in 1994 and attended numerous industry workshops and skill development courses. As her career progressed and she assumed management responsibilities, Ms. Shaw completed the national exam for CPCU7 course on management and the 12 Part Crestcom Advanced Management course. In 2011 she completed the Axiom Sales Manager training program as her management responsibilities expanded to oversight of several business development positions.

Ms. Shaw joined Irwin Siegel Agency, Inc. in August, 1992 as an Underwriter for the Developmental Disabilities Program. Soon promoted to the position of Senior Underwriter in 1993 she assumed Underwriting responsibility for ISA’s premier accounts, which included accounts with premiums of $300,000.00 and more. Ms. Shaw was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Underwriting in 1997 and held that title until December of 2000 when she was promoted to Vice President of Underwriting. In 2010, Ms. Shaw was promoted to Senior Vice President where her responsibilities were expanded to an operations role.

Her current responsibilities include management and oversight of Underwriting, Risk Management, Claims, Marketing and Sales with seven direct reports and forty-five indirect reports.
