Irwin Siegel Agency, Inc. (ISA) understands the numerous
challenges facing providers today, including workforce issues,
funding shortages, Medicaid audits, succession planning,
quality assurance in service delivery, and system capacity,
to name a few. We understand these issues because we are
actively involved in seeking solutions through collaboration
with providers, universities, governmental entities, and
other stakeholders. For example, ISA has been instrumental
in creating awareness for the need to enhance the profession
of the direct support worker, realizing that the quality
of the outcome is equal to the quality of the workforce.
As early as 1990, ISA was working with AAMR (AAIDD) to bring
recognition and awareness to direct support. Today, we continue
to be involved with Direct Support Professionals (DSP) by
our involvement with the NADSP and our ISA recognition award.
In other areas of field support, we have developed resources
to assist providers in supporting an individual’s
choice and right to risk through tools like our Individual
Risk Management Plan (IRMP). The development of our risk
management resources is the result of understanding your
needs and our committing ourselves to “supporting
those who support others” and the field of disabilities.
ISA has been developing and customizing comprehensive insurance
coverage and risk management solutions for the field for
